Privacy policy
Sarathi: Daily Gita. Last updated 24 October 2026.
Sarathi does not collect your personal information. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the app contains no third-party software that collects data.
What stays on your phone
Your bookmarks, notes, reading place, settings and reminders are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them. If you use iCloud or computer backups for your iPhone, Apple may include the app's data in those backups according to your own settings; we do not receive it.
What the app sends over the internet
The app checks content.dharalabs.co for newer versions of the verse text and downloads them when there are any. This request contains no account, no identifier and none of your writing. Like any website host, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) handles standard technical details of a request, such as the IP address and device type, to deliver the file and keep the service secure. We do not use that information to identify, profile or track you.
Reminders
If you turn on daily reminders, the app asks for permission to send notifications. The reminders are scheduled on your phone. No server sends them and none knows that you use them. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Sharing
Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to share it. When you share a verse, an image or a note about a text issue, it goes through the standard iOS share sheet to the app or person you pick. What happens next is governed by that app's policy.
Children
Sarathi collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
